Meet Nubia (she/her)

Nubia (she/her/hers) embodies the essence of compassionate care as a doula practitioner, dedicated to guiding individuals through the sacred journey of childbirth. With certifications and education in Full Spectrum Doulaship and Breastfeeding/Lactation from DONA International, along with completion of the QUILT Pregnancy and Infant Loss Virtual Intensive and Herbalism Medicine for Birth Support, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.

Driven by a profound commitment to inclusivity, Nubia serves the Black community, LGBTQ+ community, first-time parents, single mothers and birth persons with unwavering support and understanding. Additionally, her reach expands to the sex worker community due to her own background in sex work, which allows her to provide support during their birth journeys. Her specialization in full spectrum doulaship, postpartum care, self-advocacy, and pregnancy/infant loss reflects her deep empathy and dedication to holistic care.

Nubia's journey into doula work is deeply personal, rooted in her own experiences growing up with a single mother. Witnessing the struggles of new parents during the isolating times of the COVID pandemic ignited her passion to provide the support and guidance she knows firsthand is invaluable. With a heart full of empathy and a spirit devoted to empowerment, Nubia stands by her clients every step of the way, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and cherished throughout their birthing experiences.
